The vertical turbine pump is a fire pump unit developed in accordance with the People’s Republic of China fire pump standard GB6245-2006 “Fire pump performance requirements and test methods”. The product has passed the type test of China Fire Equipment Quality Supervision and Testing Center, and all performance indicators have met the standard requirements, and obtained the fire protection product approval certificate.
The vertical turbine pump is composed of multiple centrifugal impellers and guide casings, water pipes, transmission shafts, pump bases, motors and other components. The pump base and the motor are located above the pool, and the power of the motor is transmitted to the impeller shaft through the drive shaft concentric with the lift pipe, thereby generating flow and pressure.
Application range
Vertical turbo pumps are mainly used for fire hydrant fire extinguishing, automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing and other fire extinguishing systems in fixed fire extinguishing systems such as industrial and mining enterprises, engineering construction, high-rise buildings, etc., and can be used to transport clear water without solid particles and media with chemical properties similar to water , but also can be used for living, production shared water supply system and construction, municipal water supply and drainage, etc.

Main feature
- It is a vertical multi-stage water intake equipment with a small footprint. The working parts can be extended to less than 100 meters to extract fluid media, and there are many driving methods.
- According to the different conditions of use such as pumping media, motors of different materials, different structures and different requirements can be provided to meet the needs of customers in various working conditions.
- It has the characteristics of large flow range, high lift, compact structure and stable operation.
Structure Description
The dry motor fire pump set consists of three parts: the working part, the water pipe part, and the well part.
- Working part – This part consists of working parts and water filter parts. The working parts are composed of guide shell, impeller, tapered sleeve, shell bearing, impeller shaft and other parts, and the impeller is a closed structure. The shells are connected by bolts. Wear-resistant rings can be equipped on the guide shell and impeller.
- The part of the water pipe – This part is composed of water pipe, transmission shaft, coupling and bracket parts. The lift pipe is connected with flange or pipe thread. The transmission shaft material is 2Cr13 or stainless steel. When the bearing part of the transmission shaft is worn out, if it is a threaded lift pipe, the installation positions of the two short lift pipes can be exchanged for reuse. If it is a flange-connected pumping pipe, the up and down direction of the transmission shaft can be exchanged, and it can be used again. The motor fire pump that is threaded to connect the water pipe is equipped with a special locking ring at the connection between the pump base and the uppermost water pipe, which can effectively prevent the accident of the water pipe falling off.
- Inoue part – This part is composed of pump base components, fire-fighting motors, special motors for fire-fighting pumps, motor shafts, couplings and other components. Optional electric control box, outlet short pipe intake and exhaust valves, pressure gauges, check valves, gate valves and rubber or stainless steel expansion joints.
Conditions of Use
- Power requirements:
- The rated frequency is 50 Hz, and the rated voltage of the motor terminal should be guaranteed to be a three-phase AC power supply of 380+5% volts (other conditions need to be customized).
- The load power of the transformer should not exceed 75% of its capacity.
- When the transformer is far away from the wellhead, the voltage drop of the transmission line should be considered. For motors with a power greater than 45KW, the distance between the transformer and the wellhead should not exceed 20 meters. rating, and consider line voltage drop.
- Water quality requirements:
- Generally non-corrosive water.
- The solid content in water (by weight) is not more than 0.01%.
- The pH value is within the range of 6.5-8.5.
- The content of hydrogen sulfide is not more than 1.5 mg/L.
- The water temperature should not be higher than 40°C.
